Residents are invited to enjoy live music in the parks of local communities. Many of the events feature concession stands or food trucks for purchasing refreshments. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on at these outdoor concerts.
• Troy Summer Sensation Concert Series: 6:30-8:30 p.m. Kathleen Murray & The Groove Council-June 30; The Dan Rafferty Band-July 14; Devin Scillian & Arizona Son-July 28; Thornetta Davis-Aug. 11; The BackBeats-Aug. 25, at Boulan Park, 1898 Boulan (at Crooks Road between Big Beaver and Wattles Road). • Concerts in the Park: 6-9 p.m. Fridays through July 15, Depot Park, 375 Depot Road, Clarkston, concessions, business.clarkston.org/events.
• LOLive! Gazebo Concert Series: 6:30-8 p.m. July 1-Aug. 31, Wednesdays and the first Fridays of July and August, at the Children’s Park gazebo, 201 S Broadway, downtown Lake Orion, downtownlakeorion.org.
