Ensemble Concerts Start This Weekend! – Ithaca College

Ensemble concerts return to Whalen Center this weekend with a Jazz Concert for Children and Families on Saturday, September 10 at 10:00 a.m.  Bring your young ones and hear the Ithaca College Jazz Ensemble answer the question “What is Jazz?”
This concert, like many of our large ensemble concerts, will also be livestreamed, and then available starting a few days after the concert for on-demand viewing, both at ithaca.edu/music/live
Also in September, find Ithaca College School of Music, Theatre, and Dance musicians downtown in the open air for the 30th annual Founders Day Concert in the Park!
Sunday, September 18 at 2:00 p.m. in DeWitt Park.
Rain location will be Ford Hall.
And then check out the rest of our concert listings (to the left, and viewable larger here) and mark your calendars to join us for a season of bands, orchestras, choral groups, percussion ensembles, and much more! All open to the public, always free, and many of them livestreamed.
For a complete listing of ALL music events in the School of MTD, including smaller ensembles, guest artists, student and faculty recitals, and master classes, please visit ithaca.edu/music/events
Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Erik Kibelsbeck at ekibelsbeck@ithaca.edu or 607-274-3717. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
