CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – From fall festivals and free concerts to Halloween fun, there’s a lot coming up this autumn.

Clarksville Downtown Market
When: Saturdays, May 14-Oct. 1
Where: 1 Public Square
Cost: Free
Time: 8 a.m. to noon every Saturday (excluding Sept. 10)
Details: Weekly open-air market featuring farmers and artisans who offer locally-grown fresh produce, food items, and handcrafted products.
First Thursday Art Walk
When: First Thursday of each month
Where: Downtown Clarksville
Cost: Free
Time: 5-8 p.m.
Details: Self-guided tour that combines visual art, live music, engaging events and more. Rain or shine.
Friday, Sept. 16-Sunday, Sept. 18
Bikers Who Care Toy Run and Benefit Party
Where: Clarksville Speedway, 1600 Needmore Road
Cost: $35 on Ticketleap, $40 at the gate
Time: 4 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday; Toy Run Saturday at 1 p.m.
Details: Live music, tattoo contest, bike show, field events, swap meet, $10 bottomless drafts, bikini contests, drag races and more, plus Toy Run to benefit Bikers Who Care charities.

Downtown @ Sundown
Where: Downtown Commons, 215 Legion Street
Cost: Free
Time: 7-10 p.m.
Details: Tyler Booth will be performing. Food trucks will also be present.
Saturday, Sept. 17
Frolic on Franklin: A Celebration of the Arts
Where: 100 block of Franklin Street
Cost: Free
Time: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Details: Coordinated by the Roxy Regional Theatre, this event will showcase the works of over two dozen artists, staged entertainment and art demonstrations.
Welcome Home Veterans Parade
Where: Downtown Clarksville
Cost: Free
Time: 10 a.m.
Details: Wear your red, white and blue, wave flags and cheer to honor our veterans.
Downtown Commons Movie Nights
Where: Downtown Commons, 215 Legion Street
Cost: Free
Time: 7:30-9 p.m.
Details: Abominable will be playing.
Sevier Day
Where: Fort Defiance
Cost: Free
Time: 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
Details: Showcasing the frontier and colonial history of Clarksville, Native American and frontier reenactors will demonstrate flint knapping, an authentic blacksmith operation, frontier camp life, and flintlock musket firing.
Sunday, Sept. 18
Clarksville Hispanic Heritage Festival
Where: Wilma Rudolph Event Center, 8 Champion’s Way
Cost: Free
Time: Noon-8 p.m.
Details: Latin foods, crafts, music and more.
International Festival
Where: Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 709 Franklin St.
Cost: Tickets are $1 each at the gate, and tickets are used for food and vendors. Armbands for children’s area are $10.
Time: Noon-4:30 p.m.
Details: International food, craft fair, live entertainment and a kids area.
Friday, Sept. 23-Saturday, Sept. 24
Antique Tractor & Engine Club Fall Fest
Where: John Bartee Ag Center, 1921 Rossview Road
Cost: Free, but donations accepted
Time: 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday
Details: The Montgomery County Antique Tractor & Engine Club will display antique tractors, engines and farm machinery, with activities for children and adults, including rides and demonstrations.
Saturday, Sept. 24
Just Plane Fun Days
Where: Clarksville Regional Airport, 200 Airport Road
Cost: Free
Time: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Details: Airplanes, food trucks, bouncy houses, beer and more.
Movies in the Park
Where: Heritage Park, 1241 Peachers Mill Road
Cost: Free
Time: The movie begins at sunset
Details: Bring a blanket and/or lawn chairs and come hungry as we will have food available for purchase from food vendors on-site. Please leave pets and alcohol at home. Movies begin at sunset with pre-show activities and performances beginning about one hour before showtime. This week will be “Coco.”
Picnics & Pickin’ at Historic Collinsville
Where: 4711 Weakley Road
Cost: $10 for adults, $5 for children 6-12
Time: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Details: Live music from a 19th century style string band. Bring a picnic to enjoy. Demonstrations of axe throwing, corn shelling, spinning and weaving, herbal medicine and writing with dip pens.
Sunday, Sept. 25
I Am They Concert
Where: Downtown Commons, 215 Legion Street
Cost: Free
Time: 6:30-9 p.m.
Details: Pop worship band with top songs such as “Scars” and “Faithful God.” Please bring your own chairs and blankets. Food trucks on site.
Friday, Sept. 30-Saturday, Oct. 1
Artsville Fest
Where: Sanctuary on Main, 334 Main St.
Cost: Free
Times: Friday 4-9 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Details: Artlink and Local Clarksville are teaming up to present local art, music, dance, small businesses, artists, artisans and more.
Wednesday, Oct. 5
Sloshed-Speare: A Midsummer Night’s Dream
Where: Roxy Regional Theatre, 100 Franklin St.
Time: 7-9 p.m.
Cost: $25
Details: This one incorporates an abridged Shakespeare play with some adult beverages thrown in.

Details: The topic for this hike will be the “History of Halloween.” The trail difficulty level is rated moderate, please use your best judgment when registering.

Fright On Franklin

Time: 3-6 p.m.
Details: Merchants and organizations will be giving candy to the kiddos up and down Franklin Street.
Montgomery County Fall Festival
Where: Rotary Park, 2308 Rotary Park Drive
Cost: Free
Time: 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
Details: Activities include a fall themed photo-opportunity, trick or treating, Halloween crafts, pumpkin painting, food trucks, and more!
